NINETEEN
DUKE
SAILLA
PANSEXUAL
LOYAL | [atrb=style, width:400px, bTable][atrb=valign,top][style=line-height:13px; font-size:10px; text-align:justify; padding-left:8px;] LIKES Katar’s friendly when the situation requires it. In fact, he’s starved for companionship. He feels quite alone here in this foreign country. He bonds better with shyer, quieter people since louder people are better at putting him off. Being a servant himself back in his country, he feels out of sort being forced to associate with all these royals so he has an easier time with servants or civilians. Katar’s extremely faithful and loyal, making him a fierce and sometimes kind of clingy friend.
HATES He’s a pretty sullen person so cheery folks might be a bit dampened around him. If anyone even dares bad mouth his country, his people, or his religion, they would immediately become his enemy. He’s extremely intolerant to those who try to be judgmental of him or others.
LOVES Katar’s pansexual. I dunno. Just bring it D8
He also has a few brothers and sisters and cousins and...he just has a big family. If your character's from Sailla or Nostea and you want to have our characters be related, that'd be quite possible :D [/style] |

Cousin! :D Nisha is the happy-go-lucky thorn in Katar's side. He's shameless, and always brings up embarrassing details of their past, even in the company of others and it only makes him laugh all the more flustered his cousin gets. Despite that, he absolutely adores his cousin to death and, like him, is very protective of his family and country so they'd probably stick together against someone bashing them~! <3

his cousin that he's terrified of but loves out of respect and requirement lol. Katar tries his best to avoid Nisha, so that he didn't have to be embarrassed in front of his peers by this prince. Nisha makes him chew his pendent even more than usual lol. While he loves his cousin, he doesn't see them as equals, seeing that one of them is the prince and the other one is just a lowly monk. Sometimes he forgets though and would joke around with him, but most of the time, he tries to keep his distance from Nisha, for fear of what people would think of the prince if he's being followed around by a civilian. This doesn't mean it's easy to keep his distance though. If Nisha ever needs Katar's help, he'd always be there.
And of course, there's that sore point about their religion between the two of them.

Due to their positions and Sailla and how genders are separated at Gardenia, I think that they'd be kind of distant and not know each other particularly well, but still have a mutual interest. Like when they're together, there are attempts at typical sibling putzing around. Tahira is a ball of energy and joy, so she'd try to turn his gloomy frown upside-down by dragging him into something fun or shoving her fingers into the corners of his mouth, so he'd stop looking so glum.
Oh, and they could pray together. I imagine that the life of the average Saillan duke or dame is pretty lonely, so that have that, too. <:

I was thinking that as a child, before their very aware of their gender, Katar and Tahira were probably pretty close in their sea of siblings. Not as close as Katar would have been to a brother, but close enough. After he got shipped off to Guardian camp (sounds like some kind of anime), they grew apart. Every time he comes home, which isn't often, she's not there so he couldn't see her. In fact, he didn't even know she was going to Gardania untll his mother decided to mention it to him on the phone a few days into school (she probably couldn't keep track of all the children anymore). I was thinking also that they don't have the same mother.
Now she and Nisha could drag Katar into adventures and he'd have to protect them both like a big brother should D8

Soooo, an idea that I have is that Katar and Asher are not going to get along or like each other, but not necessarily because Asher actually dislikes Katar himself.
But more because of tension between their kingdoms. Both kingdoms appear to be extremely devout to their individual gods, and Tol Sirion do not take well to having their gods questioned. To them, the people of Sailla are strange sunburnt heretics, mostly unimportant because of the great distance that separates their desert from the Tol Sirion coastlines but their continued existence and blasphemy is an eyesore.
Asher wouldn't have a problem with Katar until the other opened his mouth and started talking religiously within his earshot - an action that Asher would take direct offense to, believing it to be offensive to his gods. And then, typical Tol Sirion that Asher is, he'd aim to silence Katar. Permanently.

If people don't talk about religion around Katar, he usually doesn't have a reason to start spouting religion in front of people and preaching them. And while he's devout, he's not a fanatic. But knowing him, he'd probably let it slip from time to time. There's a ton of chances for Asher to overhear Katar saying something about religion, or mentioning it. His people's way of saying goodbye mentions a god. He visits the chapel often and maybe he might tell someone he's going to go pray and Asher overhears, or he tells Asher himself lol. Perhaps the two of them were caught in the chapel at the same time. That'd be disastrous. Katar would not stand for any kind of dismissal or insult of his religion or people and I can see the two of hem becoming great rivals.
They'd probably visit the principle's office a lot.

So I think they'd be friends depending on how he feels about the bordering nation. Aal lives in a rich country literally filled with money in contrast to Katar's country and it could make him loathe aal a lot more. Aal's the kind of guy who likes hanging out with lower classes even though he is a prince. It's possible that Katar could know Aal from his infamous acts of rebellion and like him for stickin to the man. Aal's not really loud but he can keep a good conversation and likes keeping friends, though he might manipulate Katar if they get closer as friends. It really depends on how you wanna do this

Katar doesn't quite understand why this prince of the neighboring country wants to talk to him of all people. But he probably met Aal through his sister, Tahira, and know about the kind of adventures they go on, and worry about them so he follows them not because he wants to, but because he needs to keep his sister safe. As a result, he'll probably get closer to Aal. Ever since his attempt at drowning his cousin for something stupid, Katar doesn't try to bring up religion or anything that might cause conflict between him and someone else, so the fact that Aal's country is so rich while Katar's is pretty poor wouldn't be too big of a problem between the two.
I can just see him running behind Aal, trying to get him to not cause trouble.

So he'd almost be like a guardian angel for his sister sn so follow them around quite a bit. Aal's probably going to inquire about religion since he's the kind of guy who loves history and those kinds of topics, he won't insult it and respect Katar's culture since he has a rich culture as well. So all in aal they can be like friends/companions.

KATAR & ELLIOT so Elliot obviously wants in his pants all day errday /shot although, I can see these two getting strangely along. not because they could be sexual partners when the time is convenient but perhaps because he doesn't mind being around Katar and listen to anything he had to say. Elliot isn't loud but he isn't really shy either. he would seriously love the fact that he is a clingy friend because he wants that so damn bad its very sad. lol perhaps they could room together? another reason why Elliot feels dangerously attracted to the other. perhaps it could come to a point that Katar is that one person that he is starting to like in a dangerous way but feels that it would be impossibru. idek, I just want plots with you k. u8

This is real funny cause Sydney and Katar are roommates and I just saw your plot with him...lol roommate orgieeees. Katar's kind of turning into a whore...and i don't mind at all. If Elliot is friendly around him, Katar would warm up to him. Since they're roommates, he would have to warm up to him. He's a bit shy when it come to this kind of thing, so Elliot's going to have to do everything first lol.
But yes. Sex.

tension in the boy's room~~ if elliot's gonna sleaze around katar, jsing this is gonna really fuck up their friendship. unless sydney comes to a point where he doesn't feel threatened by katar. but that'd only happen if he beats him up, tops him or just you know solidifies his position as alpha male. otherwise, katar better watch his shit because sydney won't be too happy about him having sex with his belonging~
