His skin is so pale and sensitive to the sun that he can't be in it directly--his servant carries a parasol or umbrella to keep him shaded. His vision is heavily compromised, and even with glasses, he can only see something in detail if it's mere inches from his face. His servant has been his (literally--he's sort of a possession) since they were born, and is almost always arm's length away to keep him from bumping into something or falling to his death.[/classy] |
