A bit about Teo before you begin~
"Teo was born with albinism, a rare disorder that comes with a lot of problems in a case as severe as his. His skin is so pale and sensitive to the sun that he can't be in it directly--his servant carries a parasol or umbrella to keep him shaded. His vision is heavily compromised, and even with glasses, he can only see something in detail if it's mere inches from his face.
His servant has been his (literally--he's sort of a possession) since they were born, and is almost always arm's length away to keep him from bumping into something or falling to his death."

Of course, this doesn't mean he's polite--it means the opposite in fact. His family taught him that a prince is above deceptive smiles and lips closed tight. He was taught from birth that he should speak his mind, and do so in a proper manner. He doesn't mean to insult, but it's often what happens if someone asks for his opinion. Because of this behavior, only strong minded people who don't mind the truth even if it's cutting would be a friend to Teo. He believes himself to be kind and just however, and never says anything maliciously, so he really seeks good sturdy friendships he can lean on--literally (being almost fully blind makes navigating streets and hallways a bit difficult at times).

He's painfully blunt, he holds nothing back, and because he can't see anything but large blobs of color, people probably think he's staring them down a lot. He bumps into people in the hallway when his servant, Koi, isn't around and even commands others to lead him where he needs to go. None of it is meant to hurt anybody though. His kingdom is just very very traditional, and he's been taught that he should never hold himself back. It confuses him when people react angrily towards him, and he actually has the gall to think they're the ones acting like fools for being upset. So yes, this section would be very easy to fit your character into, but Teo doesn't think of others as enemies very often so it would most likely be one-sided. I can see him the prince(ss) of a bordering country possibly having a rivalry, though, if their homelands are locked in a territory dispute or trade lock.

He doesn't even think of it as being essential, really, and only thinks of someday having sex with a woman as one of his obligations to produce an heir. Koi, his servant, has been there to handle all of his, er--needs? Urges? So he feels there's no need to obtain anyone else for this type of relationship.

I'd also love love LOVE to get him a fiance so they could have a mutual lack of feelings for one another. Just sort of nod at each other in the hallway and think 'Yeah, whatever, I'm still gonna do my own thing'.
I also love getting plot ideas I haven't thought up, cause I always think "Whoooaaa, awesoooome! @w@ " So those would be dandy too. Just let me know what you can come up with and we can hash the deets out. c ;

[STYLE=font-family: georgia; font-size: 25px; letter-spacing: -2px; color: #b4cdcd; border-bottom: 5px solid #b4cdcd;]syd and teo i think sydney would find teo fascinating in many ways. i can't see him being too affected by anything teo would say, since he's so arrogant. he's not out to gain anything from teo, his appearance is just enough to keep him interested. that, and i think they could hold each other in a mutual respect. when koi's not around, sydney won't mind helping him walk around to classes and such. he's got a blind eye of his own, so they could probably like relate on that lol idk.
while sydney's playing teo, the one he's really trying to mess with is koi. i can imagine that while teo thinks sydney is nice and friendly and stuff, they both would kinda have a weird vibe from him--koi moreso than teo. like, he's not trying to took over for koi--he's not really interested in teo sexually either--but he'd like to make koi think he's out for something when really he's just fucking with him.
lol kinda goin' in circles, having a hard time explaining this. bascially, sydney's all goody-goody with teo, he really is fascinated by him, but his real goal is to mess with koi. make him feel inferior or useless, or perhaps even jealous. it's w/e. as long as koi is suffering from his friendship with teo. |

Since he was trained to notice every little thing when it came to Teo, he'd see an analyze each time Sydney brushed his shoulder or gaze seemed to linger more than the customary few seconds at a time (he'd count, sadly enough). The worst part would be that each little thing would tear him up, but he'd not be able to say even one thing against it. He has no self esteem for anything even close to relationship rights, as he has been honed as just a tool for the royal family, and he isn't supposed to feel anything at all. Though his family succeeded in removing the emotions from his face, he can't quite seem to keep them from his insides. If he were paying close attention Sydney would see little things, like Koi's hand going up against his tummy like it was hurting before it quickly straightening out into a polite servant pose or a little stutter in his step when he sees Sydney guiding Teo during the class he isn't there (of course then he'd feel the guilt of leaving him for one class even stronger). So yeah, it's very easy to get him internally heartbroken and afraid that any day he's going to have to stand guard outside a room while his prince goes and gets closer to somebody else actually 'human' (which Koi is, but he's been trained not to think of himself as).
Internally, Koi might actually hate Sydney, but even be wracked by guilt for doing so. After all, what right does he have to think of his betters like that? So yeah, he'd probably have Koi subtly squirming, and Teo probably wouldn't even be able to notice since he's blind as a bat. xD [/style] |

He'd accept his offers to help right off the bat, and would start asking him to lunch with Koi and himself. The fact that Syd has a blind eye will give him an extra leg up on convincing Teo he's a friend simply because it'll give them something big in common, and he'll feel like he can really relate. Poor Koi. He wouldn't get the teasing aspect of it at all, so he wouldn't mind Sydney getting close to him as long as it was respectful (which from what you said it would be).
I'm sure Teo would find out at some point that Sydney is the prince of a well known violent kingdom, so he'd keep an eye on him <-- ( haha ) tell Koi to keep an eye on him, but wouldn't treat him differently unless his servant gave him cause to. He's blindly (haha, again) loyal to his friends, so he'd keep himself safe by having Koi bet he lookout, but wouldn't treat him any differently. And if nothing went wrong for a little while, Teo would just go back to thinking of him as 'Syd'.
Ugh, yeah, poor Koi would have to be suspicious of him all on his own. xD [/style] |

[STYLE=font-family: georgia; font-size: 25px; letter-spacing: -2px; color: #b4cdcd; border-bottom: 5px solid #b4cdcd;]syd and teo/koi perfect. <3 sydney is pretty good about his public image, although i'm sure there's a lot of rumors about him he's also quite popular. if koi got any second-hand information, sydney's very good with playing things off or whatever--he's a manipulator and a fiend, so koi would have to get incredibly close to him if he wants to really figure something out, otherwise sydney will effectively try to turn it on him.
sydney doesn't really hide the fact he's from a violent country, so that'd be easy for teo to figure out. as i said, whether or not teo/koi believe him he'll play off any bad press pretty easily. if you guys wanna use him as a plot device to further or backtrack your character, by all means. <: i'd be happy to go along with anything--as long as you keep up those blind jokes, lol. <3 <3 |

Which then would make him feel really guilty and ashamed for 'doubting his betters', since what right does he have to think he knows anything of a royal's business? I think it might be kind of cool to maybe have Koi try and tail him once or twice (if somehow Teo were in a secure spot and didn't need his assistance - so it'd be once in a blue moon xD ) to try to see if there was anything to be concerned about. While doing so, he'd be grappling with doubt, guilt, and a very repressed urge to find something to blackmail Syd into staying away from Teo (and then a double helping of more guilt for those thoughts). Aaand then Sydney can catch him or arrange things to catch him in a bad looking position so he has to face public shame or the shame of letting down Teo. Seems like an interesting plot idea to me cause I'm totes down with throwing my characters under the bus every now and then. xD What do you think? :'> Also, does he take fencing? I just had an image of them partnering up in a practice match if so, and Koi slipping up and making it kinda more serious than a sparring match should be. >n>
