[classy=app_field3]OTHER[/classy] tim was born to jack dubois in the latter's early teenage years; he was an illegitimate child, but not the only. a year after his birth, his mother, chelsea, had given birth to tim's little sister, megan, but in anger at her dismal life, left jack to raise both children alone. tim grew up in the outskirts of gardania, helping his father raise animals and farm crops. the dubois family was never well-off, but tim made sure his sister had a more comfortable life than he did: while tim toiled with his father, he worked hard enough to ensure meg could attend the public schools instead of farm. in time, however, tim's father succumbed to a weak heart, and thus could not continue to toil. with just tim working, then sixteen years old, naturally his sister wanted to help, but tim quickly told her not to, wishing she would have a better fate than this. thus, with much attempts to prove his skills and efficiency, he headed towards gardania academy for a job, the dubois family having sold a large portion of their land to be able to temporarily afford jack's health funds. tim's been working in the academy for three years now; he's a jack of all trades and a master of none, doing whatever job requires attendance. sometimes he thinks of leaving, but he remembers he has a family to provide for. considering he's been acting like an adult since he was old enough to walk, though, he's alright with the compromise.[/classy] |
